History

DeLori Candle Company was born from a need to find a high quality, fragrant candle at a reasonable price. After searching countless stores and making trips to numerous malls, we decided that in order to find the product we were looking for, we would have to produce it. Countless hours of researching led us to believe that a candle could be made that not only would smell good the first time it is lit, but would retain the same consistent scent throughout the entire container. We were also discouraged by name-brand candles that would core-burn, or burn down the center of the container and leave wax caked on the inside of the container. Through research and endless testing, we believe that we have found not only a candle that would satisfy us, but even the most zealous consumer. Our soy wax candle is like no other that you will find. This is not a mass-produced candle made in some warehouse by people with no interest in the product. Our candles are hand-poured, one at a time, to ensure the highest quality and consistency possible. We test our product on a regular basis to guarantee that it meets our stringent requirements. Quality

DeLori Candle Company has decided to take a different approach to making candles. We were unhappy with the way traditional paraffin wax candle were burning so we decided to use 100% soybean wax in the production of our products. What does this mean to the consumer? First and foremost, they will notice how clean our candles burn. There is reduced carbon buildup in the container and there are no petroleum-soot emissions. Soybean wax is also environmentally friendly and is completely biodegradable. Another important fact to remember is that each time we burn a soybean wax candle we are helping to create economic growth for the farming industry in the United States. Not only is soy wax cleaner to burn, but it also easier to clean up. This wax is completely biodegradable and water-soluble. The wicks that we use in our production are completely lead-free. They are made from a natural product and are also tested for consistency and burn rate. But where the consumer will be able to distinguish a DeLori candle from the competition will be after they light it. We use only the best quality, undiluted fragrance oils in our candles, from suppliers with a reputation for delivering a top-quality product. Those suppliers have come to know DeLori as a company that will not settle for second-best.
